I have put Patrick off for several years about joining Little League. I know it is America's favorite pass time but I have heard so many bad stories about how parents behave at the games that I just have not wanted to go there. He is nine years old and his father tells me its time to let him experience playing on a team so now that dad is in on it , I had to go along. Well he has had four practices and I must say I love watching him play. He works really hard and has a good attitude. He is having a good time. His first game is April 28. I'll let you know how that goes.
I'm writing in the middle of the night because I'm on spring break. I will regret this later.

I can understand your concern, Dana. You are one of those parents the rest of us guard our children against with all of the ranting and swearing and emotional pressure. I believe in you and think you can overcome. Be strong! Keep yourself together! Think of the children! ;-)
